When You Live On A Farm...

When you live on a farm, life is a little different... If you didn't know, during the months of January, February, and March, many different animals are born. My family has baby sheep that come into this world during these cold months. How many of you can say that on occasion, baby lambs are allowed in the house to run around the kitchen? Well that happened in our house last Night!:) We had some lambs (so cute) that lost their Mom, and so guess what... we became their Moms! And man, they are soooooo spoiled!
This is Peyton- her brother is Manning! Yes, we got them on  Sunday during a Colts game!

There are some other things that you only see in the country; like a random coyote running on the edge of our yard! (Can you imagine how crazy our dogs went?) Oh! And you better watch out, because if you are near the barn, there is a strong possibility that you might step in the mark of a chicken:) Or better yet, actually step on one!
These are four of our 24 chickens! And it is such a joy to clean their coop! (just kiddin')
Sometimes, when you go outside to the barn to feed the animals, it is not unusual to glance in the sheep pen and to be surprised by a new baby lamb next to it's mother! Or a dog that gives you the most pitiful face that says "look at how cold, and miserable I am. Can I come in please?"
